As a professional in the field of project management consultancy, I am expected to advise clients in identifying issues affecting their organization’s property and to recommend corrective measures. As such, my company’s responsibility in ensuring processes are planned, in place and functioning while projecting success, from conception to completion with minimal disruption, has produced much satisfactory outcomes.
On my recommendations, several congregations made regulatory compliance changes to their buildings and instituted better maintenance procedures. Lights were changed to LED systems; windows were changed to insulated ‘Low-E’ argon glazed panes; and, rooms were changed from having mechanical ventilation systems to natural cross-ventilated spaces. My oversight approach encouraged creativity and participatory involvement.
The local congregations recorded reduced budgeted costs to the satisfaction of the parishioners.
